How the reminders work

    Enter your house number, street and postcode. We look for the collection calendar published for your address and show you the next dates, before asking for your email.

  2. Choose your reminder

    Pick an evening time that suits you. Six in the evening is the default, in your chosen timezone. Email reminders on binminder.co are free, with no app or password to remember.

  3. Get a timely nudge

    We check for calendar changes and email you the evening before a collection. Your reminder names the bins due. Every email has a private link to change your settings or stop.

What BinMinder is

A simple reminder for a job that’s easy to forget. BinMinder brings your collection dates and an evening email together, so you don’t have to keep checking the calendar.

We’re an independent service, not your council or waste collector. Your local provider’s calendar is the source for collection dates. For a missed collection, a replacement bin or a service change, contact the provider directly.

Will it work at my address?

Choose your country and enter your house number, street and postcode. We’ll check for your household’s collection calendar and show the next dates before you sign up. You can also browse your local area’s page for collection information and the official council link.

What if the collection calendar changes?

We recheck saved calendars for changes. Holiday arrangements vary, so use the dates your provider publishes rather than assuming everything moves by a day. If we cannot confirm a current calendar, we won’t present old dates as verified. You can try the lookup again or use the official collection link on your area’s page.

Can I change or stop my reminders?

Yes. The private link in each email lets you change your address, email, reminder time or timezone, pause reminders, or unsubscribe. Keep that link private. Reminders are available in 9 languages across the listed markets.

Is it really free?

On binminder.co, checking your collections and getting email reminders is free. Each reminder subscription is for one address. The UK site has its own optional paid reminder choices. See what’s included.
