Hamilton household collection help
Use your Hamilton property address for the collection result; a suburb name does not identify an individual household round. Hamilton City Council handles missed, missing and damaged bins through separate reports.
For household goods or rubbish that cannot use the kerbside bins, check the council's current reuse, recycling and disposal options before travelling.
Hamilton has four kerbside containers
Food scraps use the small green bin. Clean plastics numbered 1, 2 and 5, tins, cans, paper and cardboard use the yellow bin; glass bottles and jars use the separate blue or green crate.
Glass must not go in the yellow recycling bin, and loose lids are excluded from both yellow bins and glass crates. Chemicals, lithium batteries, vapes, hot ash and liquids are prohibited from the red rubbish bin.
We do not have a verified link to Hamilton City Council's own collection page. BinMinder is an independent reminder service, not affiliated with Hamilton City Council.
